Misunderstood
The story of my life
Every minute, every second
My eternal strife

They only see as far as my actions
My motives are my own
The way they’re all so quick to judge
Truly chills me to the bone

They question my choices
Without any thought
Not once considering
The battles I’ve fought

If only anyone could see
That I’m simply trying to survive
So when the time is right, I can leave this place
And go to where I will thrive
